My perspective and my reaction to events in my life started changing slowly but surely after I read A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle in Spring of 2008. That book changed the way I live my day-to-day life. Reading, learning and discovering more about spirituality, religion, and workings of a mind, although has always been of a great interest to me, has become my main focus and helped me heal when I developed some health issues in 2010.
In the post “A great article in USA TODAY” I go into more detail on how this journey has started for me.
It is important for me to stay active physically and mentally and I am all about wellbeing, health, nutrition, and fitness, but most importantly a balanced lifestyle. These are just some of the things I enjoy: cooking, reading, tennis, yoga, dancing, working out, taking long walks in nature or better yet on the beach, and at the top of that list is spending time with my two daughters and my husband of 28 years. I also love the ocean – my dream is to live on the beach 🙂
I quote Hawaiian, a social media friend forms a long time ago, as I could not have said it better, I like “Mad cool, drama free, active, positive people. That’s it really. Concentrate on the good in life and let’s chill. I don’t judge because I’m far from perfect and I stay away from critical and shallow people. I like to learn from everyone I meet. Friends should help build you up and inspire you to be a better person. ” Hawaiian
I believe in living my life so that I’ll never look back with regret, stying in a grateful, contemplative and open state of mind, in love with my life and those close to me.

  1. As a footnote, I wanted to mention that English is not my first language. I started speaking English when I was 19 and never had any formal training, nor had a chance to take any classes. So please excuse any mistakes you will come across.
    Stay present,

    • Thank you so much Neeraj, for your kind words of encouragement. Coming from a professional like yourself it is indeed a compliment.

  2. I read your ‘Allowing for the future to happen’ and I think its great! I sure will be going through your posts as I am kinda drawn to the things you have said above. Keep posting. Check in on my blog too!

  3. There is no such thing as coincidences! After a year with out a job, less auditions, my indecisiveness to be either in Miami Beach or New York, and attending to my recovering alcoholic bf – it’s been a whirlwind of ups and downs like never before! But I had a moment of truth and peace and I have been telling myself everyday for the past month that something AMAZING is happening to me right now… RIGHT, RIGHT now!
And so… I attracted good energy and stumbled upon your blog and fluttered my eyes and mind with positive thoughts.
    Thank you!

  4. Hello,
I am happy to have stumbled upon your blog. Good to see you having started your journey within..
You can be sure that people who visit you.. by chance or by choice are all good people who prefer to see beyond what generally is seen in this world of senses..
Don’t you feel there are so many people making so much efforts to adopt/accept what comes their way.. even if that is to do with their spirituality. I prefer to closely follow my master AD’s advice.. “You are free to move around but only when you have a pivot within. Mind you! that pivot should not be ‘faith’ but an ‘expereince’.. ”
Do visit AD at http://agyaatdarshan.wordpress.com , you may fall in love with him.

  5. I’m starting to find more and more blogs like yours! I, too, just started reading Eckhart Tolle in 2010. Since then my life has changed DRAMATICALLY. It’s been a beautiful journey and I’m enjoying finding people (like you) who seem to be having a similar experience with his work. Best to you!
