The 108Strong mission is to support individuals interested in maintaining vitality as they age; disease prevention, the longevity of functions. Those looking to build up, restore/strengthen their immunity, get healthy again, and prevent any further deterioration of their health.
After 14 years in the fitness business as PowerHouse Kickboxing Inc, my husband and I have decided to combine our work. He brings his experience in fitness and athletic development, and I bring mine in holistic nutrition and integrative health.
K’s (aka Coach K or Konstantin) life’s work has always been physical training. With a degree in Exercise Science and a lifelong passion for martial arts, he dedicated 40 years of his life to physical training and the development of a mind/body connection.
For us growing up in Russia, health management was a very holistic experience. I for one was a very sick child and my mom and grandma did everything they could to help me heal and regain my health through natural holistic medicine. And so when I was diagnosed with autoimmune conditions back in 2008 while nursing our 2nd daughter, I refused to take prescription drugs and it didn’t seem right that I would need these meds for the rest of my life. I knew there was another way. And that is when my curiosity about the healing power of diet became an absolute obsession and I received my certification as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach.
Over the last 8 years, K’s interests and mine became more and more intertwined. Where we would not only be focusing on physical health and fitness, but also on an overall wellbeing, and longevity based on nutrition, mindfulness practice, fitness and the fortification of the physical body’s function through a variety of training modalities (cold/heat training, acupressure, and more) – 108STRONG was born.

Health and well-being are interconnected. Well-being is the state of physical, spiritual, emotional and mental health, a state of balance, resilience, and wholeness. And health is so much more than just the absence of disease, it is a feeling of an overall well-being, vitality, and wellness.
The actions and steps that we take throughout our life will help us move closer to health, and longevity. Not to merely live longer, but stay vibrant, agile, strong and sharp, well into old age. We are sort of biohacking the system, the techniques we are using have been proven to activate autophagy, stem-cell growth, the health of mitochondria and more. The purpose of this website is to compile the latest research, share information and our personal experience, to empower others to make healthy, mindful living an easy and natural part of their daily life.
